Survey for Business studies about Ipod?

Can you answer these questions for my business studies market research please? :-)

Would you consider buying an Ipod?
Why would you (not) buy an Ipod?
How much would you pay for an 80GB Ipod?
Looking at the Actual price (£150)($250), is it good value?
Have you seen any Ipod adverts?
Which one?
Have they ever influenced a sale?
How would you buy an Ipod?
Do you think that the packaging is good?
Would you buy something in a smaller or larger box?

Thanks very much, and yes or no or single word answers are fine!

Larry McCann answers:

Would you consider buying an Ipod? Yes

Why would you (not) buy an Ipod? Because they are convenient and a symbol of status

How much would you pay for an 80GB Ipod? 200+

Looking at the Actual price (£150)($250), is it good value? Yes!

Have you seen any Ipod adverts? Yes

Which one?The ones with bright color backgrounds with silhouettes of people and white headphones

Have they ever influenced a sale? I bet!

How would you buy an Ipod? Go to the apple store downtown so I can hold it first to see which one I really like

Do you think that the packaging is good? Yeah, its ok, but most places don’t display the packaging because people will try to steal, so you have to ask a clerk to get it out for you and by that time you’ve made up your mind.

Would you buy something in a smaller or larger box? Smaller! Ipods aren’t supposed to be bulky-why should the box be? Plus less materials mean less wasted resources and smaller landfills.

George asks…

SURVEY: DO you think Men are better in business or women? and why?

please answer this survey im writing a speech about why men have higher positions in business and for one of my topics i need a little survey to support the writing so ya please just answer the question and tell why.

Larry McCann answers:

Statistically speaking, I’m gonna have to go with men overall.

Not to credit businesswomen or anything…but how can anyone compete with guys like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Ruport Murdoch, John Rockefeller, etc…

These guys are business freaks

Donna asks…

I need to do a survey regarding ice cream shops for my business class. Only takes 90 seconds…Please?

It’s for a school project so the more answers the better. Easy points.
If you’ve done this one already, I need a “larger sampling,” and the questions have changed just slightly. If you do fill it out again (which I have no problem with) just don’t tell me ;)
Which do you prefer and why? Coldstone, Maggie Moo’s or Marble Slab?

Do you prefer a place that offers Mix-ins over one that doesn’t? (Ex. Baskin Robbins, Dairy Queen, etc.)

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, rate which factors influence where you go:

The Ice Creams, Mix-ins, and other treats
The venue and overall appearance
The quality of the staff
Any promotions/coupons

Approximately how many times do you visit an Ice Cream shop during (1,2,3,etc.)
Spring
Summer
Fall
Winter

Would you be more likely to visit an Ice Cream shop during winter if they held a promotion of some sort?

Would you be more likely to visit an Ice Cream shop during winter if they had seasonal flavors or dressed up the venue for the holiday

Larry McCann answers:

Probably coldstone, haven’t heard of the others

Any beauty business card ideas?

I need 2 business cards. One for my baby shoe company and one cause I sell makeup on the side. I want ideas that stand out and that no one will forget. I like to be noticed, so something like that will be cool. Does anyone have any ideas please. I wanted to use like a really cool madeup eye or lips for the makeup card and something with baby stuff for the shoes. My baby shoes are called piggie toe baby. So please help someone. Thanks.

Larry McCann answers:

For the makeup:
1. Do a very crazy eye (like, extravagant colors) that will catch the eye. Add crazy looking lashes too. Colors like bright yellow, orange, neon colors, something along those lines

2. You can do a simple picture of a makeup brush or a picture of some very cute perfect looking red lips

for the shoes:
1. Maybe a picture of 2 baby feet ?

Creative people help!!! Numerology business card idea help! gimme some ideas!?

Ive been asked by a friend to design their business card, already i have created a great logo which she absolutely loves, but anyone got any ideas on how to make the business card unique! as this logo would be a waste on a normal plain business card! all ideas welcome! the company logo is DEBS but made from numbers 6365

Larry McCann answers:

Why not do it like the colour blind cards they test your eyes with – your DEBS can be in one colour and the rest of the card in subtle other colours so that the logo stands out more!
Or do you want it to convey the fact that it is a business card for a numerologist?
If so:

“your future is in the numbers”
Or this numerologist has you numbered!

Linda asks…

Any good business ideas for a teenager?

Does anyone have any good ideas of a business a teenager could start? I’m 15 and am willing to invest $3000. I’m open to all suggestions. Please don’t say babysitting. Me and kids don’t mix well.

Larry McCann answers:

Develop a product or service around your passion. What do you like to do? Where do you like to visit? What do like about your town, city, or community that you would like to showcase?

Before you conclude that this does not make sense, download and read this PDF document which will give you in detail (and better) what I am trying to describe here: http://mycps.sitesell.com/Dare.html

Paul asks…

What are good business ideas?

I need to find good business ideas to start my own business, not for real just a project. The idea can’t be those burger shops, shoe stores, and so on. Has to be a good idea in which people will buy a product or use a service. I can’t really think of anything because I always find negative advantages of that idea.

Please help! And no internet businesses unless it is clever and worth doing.

Larry McCann answers:

It is simple

write down a list of
- what you are good at
- what you care about

Eg, surfers start a clothing line of surf clothes (and make a lot of money) or a garderner starts a garden shop. Ummm….if you really care about burgers and can justify it, then why not start a burger shop (eg, suppose you know a place where lots of young people like to go on weekends, but there is no where to get a burger or a shake, then it would be a perfect idea)

Mary asks…

What are some really good business ideas?

I want to open a small coffee shop, but are there any other good business ideas you can think of?

Larry McCann answers:

We’ve just been issued with our 6 different recycle bins, you could make a living by having a van with a steam cleaner offering to clean the bins, you could also offer a bin marking service so your customers can have their house number and postcode marked on the bins.

£5 per steam cleaned bin every 6 weeks or so, bin marking £10, you’d make a fortune, you could call it the Bin Laden express.

Another idea is cycle maintenance at stations and other places where bikes are stored, you have a rack of digital bike D locks at the station all secured on a plate advertising the cycle maintenance service.

You choose a bike lock, text the number printed on it to a phone number, you’re automatically texted back the unlock code of that lock at a premium rate £6 (to off set the cost of the lock if you nick it), you put the lock on your bike and go to work.

At work you go on-line and pay for the cycle service, your bike is maintained at the station and re-locked ready for your return, when you get back to the station you unlock the cycle company’s d lock replace it on the rack you got it from and cycle home.

My small local station has space for about 40 bikes, our nearest town station has literally hundreds of commuter bikes locked there during the day, should be able to make a packet and sell the business as a franchise with more and more companies offering incentives for their workers to cycle to work.
