Maria asks…
I have great business ideas but no funding. Where do I go?
My husband says I have great business ideas but unfortunately we have no money. Honestly, I would like to put my ideas out “there” but could care less about dealing with it hands on and everyday managing. I would only want a percentage of the idea or business. What do I do or where do I go?

Ken asks…
I have a great business idea, but not the finance. Where can I find people who have the finance but no ideas?
Like my question states, I have a great idea fora business, and am about to put some research into the best locations etc. for it. I do not have the finance (and probably never will), so I’m wondering if there’s a forum or place I can go to find people who have the money and desire to open a business but do not know what they want?
Thanks =)

Larry McCann answers:
Anyone with the cash to invest knows exactly what they want: To make a profit. If they’ve got the cash, odds are they have been successful in the past and should know how to run a business. They don’t care WHAT your idea is or how good you may think it is. They don’t care how smart you think you are or what you’ll be doing. They only care about how they need to invest, what’s the return on investment, how long will it take and what’s the risk factor; i.e. Are YOU worth investing in? If you’re lucky enough to find someone, expect to give up at least 80% of your company to the investors. If you can get fully funded and can keep 20% you’ll be lucky. Just remember, it’s better to own 20% of a home run success than 100% of a flop.

William asks…
Any great business ideas for a 14-yr-old girl?
I am looking to start a buisness with the target market being teenage girls. I want it to be different and the product or service to be high in demand. It will be run mostly at my school although it can extend on from there. It can be a service or product. If anyone has any great ideas, I will be very greatful if you could write them down.
Thankyou
I am already starting a jewellery business and I am looking for something need ing less capital to start off with.
Thankyou to any proper ideas though!

Larry McCann answers:
The answer may be right under your nose. You’re 14, so you’re in the age range of your target market. What kind of products or services are you and your friends really interested in? Just pay attention to what your friends are already wanting or just as easy, what you’re already wanting.
Also, don’t let anyone discourage you with “you’re too young” and junk like that. You are never too young to start. When others tell you it can’t be done, or you’re too young, then that a big clue as to that fact that you are on the right track.
Also, if you can afford US$17.00 (you’ll need your parents permission & credit card), sign up at www.businessfastlane.com for ideas on other businesses people have started and were successful with. It’s US$17.00 per month, but you could review all that information (or print it out) in 1 months time. And yes, there are case studies of young people in their teens or not even teens yet that have started successful businesses and made a lot of money.
Good luck young lady and hope you make your 1st million before you’re 18 years old.
